Sustainable tourism competition open

Proponents of "geotourism" believe that it benefits local residents in many ways, including economically, since travel businesses strive to use local workforce, products, and services.

A new National Geographic competition aims to raise awareness to ways geotourism may be beneficial to the local communities. Winners will be innovators in geotourism and applications are now open through April 9.
