LOCOmonitor provides a snapshot of Foreign Direct Investment from over 20,000 companies in 170 countries. The database, going back to 2002, includes only new (greenfield) investments.

http://www.investmentmap.org aims to assist investment promotion agencies (IPAs), members of The World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and Trade Support Institutions (TSIs) in defining priority sectors for investment promotion, identifying potential investors in a given sector, identifying competitor countries for inward investment, and defining opportunities for bilateral investment. Which combines statistics on foreign direct investment together with foreign companies, international trade, tariff data and activities of multinational firms.
