Development Marketplace 2007 open for entries

DevelopmentmarketplaceHave a good idea for a development project? Need $50,000 to $200,000 in funding?

The World Bank's Development Marketplace is offering $4 million in awards for innovative projects to improve health, nutrition and population outcomes (read: high fertility) of poor people in developing countries. Submit an application online by November 17.

A 2003 winner, Scojo Foundation trains and equips low-income men and women as “Vision Entrepreneurs” to start their own micro-franchises selling affordable reading glasses and other eye care products.
