Can you believe what you read on aid and growth?

Not according to the inimitable Adamsmithee, reviewing the lastest meta-study:

The authors complain that the literature displays very strong evidence of data mining and that institutional biases appear impact published results.  Surely not.

Michael Klein and I review some of the literature here (and in The Market for Aid). I don't think we have an institutional bias but I'll admit that we did aim to highlight possible problems in aid effectiveness.
